    Description

    Innovative venture firm, renowned for its portfolio of high-profile companies is looking for a Receptionist to join their team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a close-knit admin team and grow in the role You will be the face of the firm to welcome and greet visitors, liaise with building management and vendors, manage mail, and provide support at events. Someone who has a strong customer-service mentality, is extremely sharp and proactive, and has the interpersonal skills and polish to interact with high-profile individuals. This is an in-office role based near SoHo in NYC. 70K+ DOE + discretionary bonus, benefits, 401k with matching, lunch stipend, annual team trips, and gym in the office

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and welcome visitors as they arrive at the office. Directing guests to appropriate team members.
    • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
    • Manage mail. Receive, sort, send out, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
    • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access through managing the security portal and liaising with lobby.
    • Managing visitor management database. Keeping records updated.
    • Coordinating with vendors and building staff.
    • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary supplies and materials.
    • Support in-office and externally hosted events.
    • Provide administrative support to external teams/individuals.
    • Other projects and administrative support as needed.
    Qualifications:
    • 2 years of solid administrative experience (or recent college graduates with strong internships).
    • Familiarity with different productivity software: Airtable, Notion, Envoy, Slack, GSuite.
    • Polished and articulate. Comfortable interfacing with high-profile visitors.
    • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
    • Prioritizing welcoming guest experience. Customer-service mentality and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Shift focus quickly between various projects and priorities.
    • 4-year college degree.
