We seek a Lead Backend Engineer who can spearhead backend infrastructure development and deployment, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and resilience. Integral to our Data Science, NLP, Data Engineering, and Product teams, you'll craft top-tier solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Guide and supervise a compact team of Backend and Frontend Engineers
  • Forge and maintain a scalable backend architecture
  • Architect and deploy API endpoints
  • Collaborate closely with Data Science, Data Engineering, and Product Teams
  • Establish and uphold automated unit testing

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Over 5 years' experience in backend development.
  • Proven leadership in guiding engineering teams
  • Competence with SQL and NoSQL databases

Bonus Points:


  • Exposure to Big Data environments.
  • Proficiency with DevOps tools.
  • Previous engagement with startup ventures.
  • ML/AI, NLP, and Data Science principles.

Pay:
$130, $180,000.00 per year
