- Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Fixed Income is fully integrated into MSCO ecosystem through a formal joint venture.
- Position Description:
- The Fixed Income Products and Content Team is responsible for the curation and distribution of pertinent and actionable Taxable Fixed Income content to Morgan Stanley's Financial Advisors. The team leverages both internal and external credit analysis as well as Morgan Stanley Research and Strategy to assist in portfolio construction, positioning, and overall strategy.
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Intimately cover 12 fixed income sectors as a sector specialist, producing and distributing pertinent content to the field
- Leverage Morgan Stanley Research and Strategy as well as thirdparty research to help aid in positioning and portfolio construction
- Utilize firm technology to assist Financial Advisors with Fixed Income content
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Fixed Income Sales & Trading preferred
- Fundamental understanding of global credit/interest sensitive markets
- Ability to identify investment opportunities and analyze client portfolios
- Licenses: Series 7, & 65), or within 2 months of hire
- Proficient Microsoft excel knowledge preferred
- Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $57,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and longterm incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
