Position Title:
Lab Deployment and System Support Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with laboratory deployment experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer systems, project management methodologies (specifically JIRA and waterfall), and familiarity with enterprise tools such as Acronis, SNOW, and system backups.

This role will primarily focus on supporting patch lab deployment across various lab systems, while also managing system decommissioning processes in SNOW and ensuring system backups are maintained.

Responsibilities:

Lead the deployment of patches across lab systems, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing experiments and operations.
Provide technical support for lab systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise and ensuring systems are running optimally.
Manage system decommissioning processes in SNOW, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
Collaborate with project managers using JIRA and waterfall methodologies to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.
Conduct regular system backups to safeguard critical data and ensure disaster recovery preparedness.
Maintain familiarity with both validated and nonvalidated systems, understanding the unique requirements and compliance standards associated with each.
Utilize Acronis and Nugenesis skills to enhance system maintenance and data management processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in lab deployment and system support, preferably in a scientific or research environment.
Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, as well as familiarity with waterfall project management methodologies.
Strong technical skills in computer systems and enterprise tools, including Acronis and SNOW.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Basic understanding of validated and nonvalidated systems, with a commitment to maintaining compliance standards.
Experience with Acronis and Nugenesis is a plus.
