We Value- Professional experience in human services policy analysis and development, human services-related programs' performance/quality improvement, or human services program planning or development

Job Contributions- Perform critical functions that require analytical studies on a variety of reports, policies, projects, programs, and issues in support of a process, initiative, program, and organizational unit or in the research of new and /or changing systems and programs- Coordinate with the Administrative team to provide support and assist in the monitoring and managing of programs and initiatives- Coordinate, develop, and implement special administrative, operational, or programmatic projects and initiatives, including developing scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and reports- Lead collaboratively with departmental staff and agency partners in developing documents, including policies, procedures, and processes, and track revisions to all program policies and procedures- Conduct best practices research to determine the most effective methods for meeting Community Services' needs and benchmark with other comparable public and private entities- Assist Assistant Director with special program, policy, and planning projects, including conducting research and creating reports- Write policy and reviews with CSD Supervisors and AD- Participate in developing CSD strategic goals and strategies to ensure alignment with HSD strategic goals- Assist in the monitoring and management of divisional initiatives

Working Conditions- Work is routinely performed in an office environment, which may require long periods of sitting, reading, and typing- Requires travel to program sites throughout Maricopa County Must complete background check and fingerprint identification upon hire to successfully secure and maintain DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card- Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a valid AZ Driver's License at the time of hire

Selection ProcedureMust pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
