    Job Description

    The Construction/Development Coordinator will be in charge of acquiring materials, equipment, and services to fulfill purchase requests from the Development Area. This involves preparing purchase orders, addressing order inquiries, and overseeing the entire purchasing process to ensure timely delivery or completion. Additionally, they will be responsible for successfully managing projects from start to finish for the brand.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage purchase requests and collaborate with vendors to control costs.
    • Verify the accuracy of all invoice documentation.
    • Address project-related inquiries and issues.
    • Track purchases until they are received.
    • Maintain invoice control.
    • Identify suppliers in different markets.
    • Ensure timely completion of purchase orders.
    • Inform relevant departments about order placements.
    • Compare prices and delivery timelines from different suppliers.
    • Create cost comparison charts for products.
    • Select the best bid for purchases.
    • Keep records of purchased items, prices, deliveries, and warranties.
    • Match purchase orders with shipments.
    • Validate invoiced amounts against received goods.
    • Handle and record invoices in an Excel document.
    • Coordinate utility setups in project cities.
    • Manage permit applications and payments to city authorities.
    • Build relationships with city zoning and planning departments.
    • Support team collaboration by facilitating follow-ups, timelines, and communication.
    Requirements:
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in purchasing and/or coordination.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor collaboration.
    • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail for multitasking.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for document creation and data analysis.
    • Ability to interpret construction drawings.
