- Be a team player on construction projects - working with architects, engineers, field staff, owners, subs, etc.
- Interact with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite construction work
- Estimating of projects - quantity takeoff, subcontractor pricing assistance
- Schedule development and management
- Project bidding and buyout
- Project Budget Management
- Coordination and management of field supervision, as well as subcontractors on construction projects
- Review project estimates with operations team (field and office) to ensure logistical and site considerations are included
- Interacting with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite the work
- Safety assistance while on job sites
- Degree in construction management or similar discipline
- 4+ years of experience in civil, commercial and/or utility construction
- Alternative delivery projects knowledge is a plus
- Hands on construction experience is desired but not required
- Partnership approach to working with architects and engineers
- MS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skills
- Proficient in MS Project
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player
- Self-motivation and time management skills
- Some travel is required
