    Description

    Join our Finance Operational Risk Management (FORM) team where you will assess and identify risks that may impact our reputation, safety, security, and financial success. Work closely with stakeholders across the Finance division to ensure operational effectiveness, reliable reporting, and compliance with laws and policies.

    THE VALUE YOU WILL BRING
    • Guide junior staff on Finance business process controls and monitor testing progress.
    • Provide project management oversight for Risk and Controls junior analysts and consultants.
    • Review work and documentation, communicate project objectives, and motivate team members.
    • Assist in coordinating assignments and monitoring team progress.
    • Collaborate with Finance Business Partners on issue management and corrective actions.
    • Strengthen the governance and risk environment as a change driver within the FORM team and Finance division.
    • Develop relationships with business partners to enhance governance and risk environments.
    • Execute Risk Assessments for Finance processes including identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
    YOUR EXPERIENCE
    • Minimum 4 years' experience in accounting, audit, or risk assessment.
    • Extensive knowledge of risk and controls.
    • Strong communication and project management skills.
    • Prior experience in leading and coaching junior staff.
    • Ability to interact effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Skilled in Excel.
    Desired Experiences
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
    • Experience managing change and implementing best practices.
    • Consulting and influencing skills.
    • Knowledge of the mortgage industry and Fannie Mae's operations preferred.
    • Experience in audit, controls testing, or financial services preferred.
    • Experience with enterprise GRC tools and relevant certifications a plus.
