- Performs a range of supervisory functions: Plans the work, sets priorities and schedules for completion of work. Prepares performance standards and evaluates performance of subordinates. Identifies development and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training; and Finds ways to improve or increase the quality of the work supervised.
- Coordinates with the DOI, Bureaus, Denver and Regional Off ices to promote and support implementation of business process improvements for the Records Information Management (RIM) Programs. Consults and collaborates with the Reclamation Records Off icer (RRO) and Reclamation's associate Chief Information Off icer (ACIO) to ensure objectives are developed in alignment with direction on electronic recordkeeping requirements.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining records processes and content management framework that supports the entire life cycle of Government records through an integrated, open, and accountable information environment. Provides RIM advisory services, guidance, recommendations, direction, and active support concerning RIM program services, systems, National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), litigation support, related Federal laws, regulations, directives, procedures, policy interpretation, implementation, compliance, and other analogous requirements, information, and activity within the RIM Group as well as throughout Reclamation.
- Leads Reclamation staff in the evaluation, planning, and implementation of records, management projects, official file station development and reviews, records and records accessioning. Works with the Records and Information Management Officers team to develop and share records, management programs procedures across the Reclamation. Assists the Bureau FOIA/Privacy Off icer on record releases. Coordinates with NARA to ensure timely transfers of historic material.
