    Job Type Full-timeDescriptionFIC America Corp. is seeking a Safety Manager with OSHA and LOTO experience.

    Will participate in the design and implementation of new programs to comply with company standards and federal, state, and local requirements.

    Essential Job FunctionsOversee the safety program and provide supervision of the Safety SpecialistTrain employees on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, such as, but not limited to, forklifts, LOTO, personal protective equipment, and blood-borne pathogensPerform audits and inspections and create detailed reportsManage PPE program, including placing orders, and daily presence on production floorDesign and implement safety and health programs to prevent, correct, and/or control unsafe and noncompliant conditionsReview and evaluate new and existing operations to identify and resolve any safety and issues in manufacturing processesEliminate or control hazardous conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations that may lead to human injury and/or property damageConduct safety audits and advise management on safety issues observedComplete related documentation and reportsInvestigate accidents to determine causes and how to prevent such accidents in the futurePlan and test emergency systems and procedures to ensure proper preparationFollow standard work instructionsOther duties as assigned Requirements 5+ years of Safety management experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with interpretation of OSHA regulations and safety policy and programsWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook experienceProject management experience is a plusValid driver's license is required in order to drive between the production facilitiesMust be willing to cross-train 90% Company Paid Health BenefitsExcellent Medical, Dental, and Vision BenefitsShort-term disability paid by employerOptional long-term disability and additional life insurance401k company matchVacation, Holiday, and Personal Days PaidAbout FIC America Corp.
