Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Make sure PPE is a priority for temp and internal workers
  • Have experience with OSHA
  • Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
  • Train employees on safety protocols and provide ongoing safety education
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and procedures
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and report any violations or concerns
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Coordinate with external agencies, such as OSHA, as necessary

Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of production planning, procurement, order fulfillment, warehouse supervision, shipping/receiving, continuous improvement systems, forklift operations
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate safety policies and procedures to employees at all levels
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to identify potential hazards and implement effective solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
