    Description

    CBTS has an immediate need for a Manager of Infrastructure Technologies. This candidate Leads and manages a technical team responsible for identifying, assessing, implementing and maintaining IT systems comprised of physical and virtual infrastructure, software, datacenter, and service components which support the delivery of business solutions and IT-enabled processes. Plans, organizes, directs and implements the delivery of services and infrastructure managed by the Technical Services (TS) department to deliver effective and efficient IT services and solutions.     The Sr Manager, IT Infrastructure is accountable for leading the IT Infrastructure team. This individual will be responsible for all associated technology components related to supporting the business on a daily basis. This will include establishing service level agreements, reporting performance to the defined service level, and completing enhancement projects. Finally, this role will have a significant role in furthering the enterprises cybersecurity position and cloud transformation of premise-based infrastructure.

    Project Management

    • Partners with senior IT leadership in the formulation of the companys enterprise architecture and business systems plans; assessing cost and feasibility and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of the business.
    • Works with technology and business leadership to define service offerings and appropriate Service Level Agreements.
    • Identifies opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement.
    • Manages relevant strategic vendor partner relationships.
    • Negotiate and drive approval process for statements of work and vendor contracts / renewals.
    • Recommends IT Policy and manages appropriate enterprise services procedures.
    • Participates in the creation and management of the annual operating plan.
    • Leadership for delivery of 24/7 service operations, Service Level and KPI compliance

    Department Management

    • Participates as a member of the IT Management Team in setting and executing policy and/or procedures.
    • Demonstrates vision and the ability to influence senior executives regarding correct systems strategies to provide a competitive advantage.
    • Understands and communicates the companys vision, goals, objectives and principles and works to ensure ITs alignment with those attributes.
    • Supervises designated employees: communicates expectations; monitors and appraises job results; counsels and disciplines as needed; provides appropriate training and development; interviews applicants and selects new employees; monitors attendance.
    • Works with senior IT leadership to define, negotiate, and maintain service level agreements between IT and the business.

    Customer Support

    • Understands the business requirements.
    • Anticipates changing business requirements and advances in information technology and then works proactively to properly position the business.
    • Ensures the continued operational success of all areas of responsibility while simultaneously minimizing costs and maximizing service levels.
    • Analyzes the implications of requested changes to the application portfolio and sets/manages proper expectations.
    • Works closely with software engineers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

    Education:

    Bachelors Degree in information systems or related field, or the equivalent in both education and experience required.

    Requirements

    10+ years in the information systems industry.

    4 years management experience.

    Excellent management and organizational skills.

    ** Experience with public cloud as well as SaaS architecture and understanding of its principles and best practices

    Working knowledge of data center operations, telecommunications, network engineering, data center applications, client/server computing, and production operations support. Specific technologies of note include, but not limited to:

    Microsoft Server & Client operating system and infrastructure applications

    MS 365 and related platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Teams)

    MS Azure

    Cisco Voice and Networking

    VMware

    ITSMs (ITIL preferred) / ServiceNow

    multi-carrier WANs/SDWAN
