    Description

    Our client in Worcester has an IMMEDIATE opening for two *Programmer Analysts* to code, test, debug, document and maintain complex programs and perform system design work.

    The *Programmer Analyst* will design, develop and implement product modifications and provide low level analysis for development and maintenance of the application.

    Must have some experience with programming or systems analysis. SQL Server DB, PL-SQL/stored procedures, JAVA, Cobol/DB2, scripted programming languages. XML/XSLT experience a plus. This is a direct hire, hybrid/remote position, minimum 2 days per week in office.
    *Hours*: Full time, Monday through Friday / Day shift / Hybrid

    *Create and execute detailed test scripts for systems, and perform all phases of testing on the system and modifications

    • Provide root cause analysis of any defect uncovered during testing
    • Design, develop and implement product modifications and provide low level analysis for development and maintenance of the application
    • Provide operational support for existing product applications
    *Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience

    • Demonstrated expertise in analysis and development of functions in client server environment
    • Knowledge of black box, integration, stress and system testing
    • Ability to analyze requirements and write effective test cases including analysis, development and execution of complex scenarios
