    Job Title: Compliance Risk Manager at USAA

    Job Description:

    What you'll do:

    • Anticipate and identify future needs, opportunities, and potential compliance solutions, leading cross-functional teams through the problem resolution process.
    • Assess results of data analyses, provide credible challenge, and recommend innovative compliance solutions.
    • Develop, design, and deliver compliance strategies to influence business leadership on effective solutions and represent leadership on complex issues.
    • Maintain and expand experienced knowledge of the competitive/regulatory landscape and the company's key challenges.
    • Coordinate and respond to regulatory requirements and requests, ensuring the execution of examinations.
    • Drive compliance risk management activities in accordance with enterprise compliance standards.
    • Act as the technical expert regarding compliance laws and regulations, providing direction to others on complex issues.

    What you have:

    • Bachelor's degree and 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required.
    • 8 or more years of relevant experience in compliance, risk, legal, or audit within the financial services or insurance industry.
    • Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment.
    • Expert knowledge of relevant industry regulations and regulatory compliance in a specific area.
    • Advanced knowledge of compliance laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations.
    • Ability to apply advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance to consult and provide insight and guidance effectively.
    • Effective communication at all levels of management.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
    • General understanding of federal supervisory guidance.

    What sets you apart:

    • Experience in Compliance Risk Management at a large, complex financial institution.
    • Strong project management and understanding of state and federal regulations for Banks.
    • Excellent communication, data analytic skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple competing goals.
    • US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner [optional].

    What we offer:

    Compensation: USAA assesses market data and establishes salary ranges based on experience and market data. The salary range for this position is: $120,550 - $230,400.

    Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall performance.
