    Job Summary:


    The Wendy's Wonderful Kids (WWK) Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in connecting youth awaiting permanent homes with adopting families. By implementing effective recruitment, matching, and support services, the coordinator helps facilitate positive outcomes for these youth.

    Working closely with child welfare agency staff, the Care Coordinator reviews case records, interviews involved parties, and creates detailed recruitment plans for each youth. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful placements and provide ongoing support.



    Job Duties:

    - Identify youth eligible for the WWK program
    - Develop recruitment strategies for finding suitable families
    - Coordinate transition planning between youth and matched families
    - Attend training sessions and submit necessary data
    - Support the mission and values of the organization

    Qualifications & Education:

    • High School graduate or equivalent
    • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in child welfare
    • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Passion for helping children find permanent homes
    • Ability to build relationships with diverse populations
    • Basic computer proficiency
    • Clear background check and required vaccinations
    • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
