Job Summary

Join our manufacturing client as the Business Development Manager In this role, you'll drive sales success by surpassing targets in your designated territory. Your role will involve nurturing existing accounts and cultivating new ones. You'll embark on exciting journeys to customer sites, showcasing our client's capabilities to key decision-makers, and forging valuable connections while uncovering new opportunities. Expect to engage in frequent dialogue with clients to understand and meet their evolving needs.

Responsibilities

Generate and qualify leads through proactive efforts
Actively pursue new business opportunities via prospecting, cold-calling, and networking
Follow up promptly on all sales opportunities and customer inquiries
Conduct discovery meetings with both existing and potential customers to identify needs and opportunities
Assess mechanical systems to determine repair, modification, or replacement requirements, providing tailored solutions to prospects
Gather necessary information for proposal development
Present and follow up on proposals within assigned territory
Deliver effective sales presentations, addressing questions and objections proficiently to secure signed contracts
Negotiate successfully with customers to secure commitments
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and meet or exceed sales revenue and contract renewal targets
Follow up on awarded projects to maintain optimal customer satisfaction
Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to manage territory effectively
Participate in local, regional, and national industry meetings, shows, conferences, and events as needed

Requirements

2 – 5+ years in Outside Sales Ammonia Refrigeration
High school diploma or equivalent required
Build relationships with contractors, managers, and engineers for sales leads
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Willingness to travel up to 60%
Valid driver's license with insurance
Deadline-oriented with multitasking abilities
