Valeria Ambriz Medellin

I am an accomplished professional with over five years of experience, great leadership and managing skills, with an enthusiastic and energetic personality that helps me with relationship building. I have a bachelors in psychology and neuroscience, I am currently pursuing a Masters in Organizational Psychology. I am am bilingual in spanish and english. I am passionate about learning and development as well as diversity, equity and inclusion. 

I currently have two jobs which are fashion stylist and fitness coach, both of my jobs requite interpersonal skills and leadership skills as I have to lead and train teams up to 20 a well as public speaking skills. When I am training people for competition I need to be a good mentor and a coach by applying my communication skills, feedback skills and the power to motivate others. Prior to these jobs I worked as a political campaign manager, where I had to strategize, manage and organize events and people. I have plenty of volunteer experience and managing experience.

I was an international student I pursue a bachelors in psychology and a minor in neurosice. To further develop my expertise I decided to start my Masters in Organizational Psychology at Southern Methodist University where I am learning how to be an excelent human resources manager. We learn management of human capital, the ethics of an organization, how to manage businesses, how to drive an organization to success and create psychological safe places for employees, employee retainment tactics, benefits, biases in recruiting, etc.
