- Organize, direct, and supervise clinical and procedural units
- Ensure compliance with policies, safe staffing levels, and efficient patient throughput
- Manage department budget and oversee quality and performance improvement initiatives
- Invest in staff professional development and ensure completion of annual competencies
- Communicate important information to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
- Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or compact state)
- BLS within 30 days of hire, ACLS within 90 days of hire
- 3-5 years nursing experience in critical care unit
- 2-3 years leadership experience
