Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, maintaining safe staffing levels, managing supplies and equipment, and optimizing patient throughput. Additionally, you will develop, implement, and manage department budgets, while actively engaging in quality improvement initiatives. Investing in the professional development of staff and ensuring completion of required competencies will be vital aspects of this role. Effective communication of important information to senior leadership, including the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), is essential.
