Located in a picturesque area known for its stunning landscapes, vibrant community, and rich cultural heritage, you'll find an abundance of activities to enjoy during your downtime, from hiking scenic trails to exploring charming local boutiques and eateries.
As theDirector of Inpatient Nursing Services , you'll lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional care within our state-of-the-art facility.
With units including an 8-bed ICU, a 12-bed Med/Surg floor, and a 24-bed Med/Tele floor, you'll have the opportunity to make a profound impact on patient outcomes while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
Organize, direct, and supervise clinical and procedural units
Ensure compliance with policies, safe staffing levels, and efficient patient throughput
Manage department budget and oversee quality and performance improvement initiatives
Invest in staff professional development and ensure completion of annual competencies
Communicate important information to senior leadership
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or compact state)
BLS within 30 days of hire, ACLS within 90 days of hire
3-5 years nursing experience in critical care unit
2-3 years leadership experience
