    In-house Talent Acquisition Specialist
    Job Description

    The In-house Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for supporting recruiting efforts in all locations of the organization.

    They will utilize various tools, such as job boards, social media sites, and networking groups, to source and recruit candidates.

    The Specialist will pre-screen potential candidates and present them to the Hiring Manager for review and interview.

    Administrative duties related to recruiting, such as creating and posting positions, scheduling interviews, and coordinating testing, will also be handled by the Specialist.

    Additionally, they will use advanced internet searching resources to generate prospective candidates, advertise and solicit resumes, and screen resumes and applications for suitability.

    Outstanding organization and presentation skills are required for this position, as well as the ability to be a self-starter. Advanced knowledge of recruiting across social media platforms is also necessary to build a strong presence.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.
    Source passive candidates using various tools and techniques, such as search engines, career sites, LinkedIn, and job boards.

    Utilize professional associations, cold calling, internet searches, networking, recruiting events, labor market data, database searches, and other technology to generate diverse candidate slates.

    Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates.
    Manage internal and external communication to maintain a positive employer reputation.
    Build and maintain relationships with universities, employment agencies, and other recruitment resources.
    Analyze existing talent acquisition procedures and develop new, more efficient methods.
    Evaluate resumes and screen candidates for open requisitions.
    Hire, retain, and develop the right people while reducing cost and turnover.
    Improve and maintain staffing levels, reduce fill times, and increase new hire quality.
    Work with Managers to fill open positions with the right person.
    Identify candidates with potential to be developed.
    Provide a workforce that desires to be part of a growing organization and reduce dependency on contingent workforce.
    Conduct job studies and develop valid selection and job-related criteria.
    Conduct recruitment effort for various personnel categories.
    Manage internal and external job postings.
    Assist staff members in creating job-related interview questions.
    Check applicant references, make job offers, and initiate paperwork for new hires.
    Maintain compliance with employment regulations.


    The Specialist will also participate in the development and execution of orientation programs, track recruitment KPIs, and conduct new employee stay meetings.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 1-3 years of sourcing experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment.


    Skills and Abilities:
    Experience with social media recruiting.
    Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques.
    Familiarity with full cycle recruitment.
    Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
    Ability to effectively interface with management.
    Proficient in MS Office products.
    Ability to travel to other facilities as needed.
