We are looking for someone who can truly identify with our mission and project the organization's passion for what we do and who we serve among the community, to join our Human Resources team as a full time
Talent Acquisition Specialist.



Major Responsibilities:


  • Develops an understanding of qualifications for assigned positions and conducts initial phone screens.
  • Identifies and assists with developing and maintaining partnerships with communitybased organizations such as coordinating recruitment events and community events.
  • Builds an active applicant pipeline and sourcing strategy by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, minority publications, news media, social media, and internet sites. Creates monthly and quarterly reports with metrics.
  • Collaborates with recruitment team to develop and maintain annual schedule of career fairs, coordinates and/or participates in community, career, or education presentations, holds internal career fairs.

Qualifications:


  • B.A. /B.S or equivalent experience
  • 23 plus years' experience in fullcycle recruiting
  • Nonprofit experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding and facility using the Internet to search for information, especially popular and emerging social networking sites including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and others.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Flexible availability to attend night and weekend career fairs and events as needed.

Physical Demands:


  • Requires someone to sit for long periods of time, talk on the phone and enter information into the computer for at least 70% of their day.
  • Infrequent light physical effort required.
  • 510% local travel.

Work Environment:


  • Work performed in an office environment.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm or 9:00-5:00pm

Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
