    Description

    Job Title: Environmental Health & Safety Manager

    Job Location: Montezuma, GA

    Job Duration: 06+ Months (Possibilities of Extension) (Temp to Perm)

    Job Description:

    · Facility in respect to the Environmental, Health, and Safety programs.

    · The EH&S Manager will maintain a proactive approach to safety in the workplace, developing safety reports for site leadership, identifying and enforcing preventive safety measures, conducting audits & checks, and ensuring the proper job-related training is delivered and documented.

    · Will support a positive culture while remaining flexible, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Safety-related Management functions (claims, data integrity, documentation)

    · Worker's Compensation activities

    · Oversee the day-to-day site security operations.

    · Provide EH&S training for employees on policies, regulations, and procedures.

    · Inspect and verify company compliance with relevant safety regulations.

    · Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.

    · Maintain accurate and current records in accordance with guidelines.

    · Analyze incident reports, metrics and injury case studies in order to institute changes that lead to a safer environment.

    · Safety Best Practices - create, maintain, manage and train.
