- Learn the Honda products so you can walk a customer through the differences between vehicle models and features.
- Listen to and identify the customers' needs when they're shopping for a vehicle so you can make recommendations.
- Develop and foster relationships with customers to promote customer retention via returning for another trade-in/sale or to utilize Dean Honda's Service Center for maintenance and repairs.
- Meet and exceed targets by achieving monthly individual and team goals for new-customer acquisition and sales.
- Track progress and results by recording prospect interactions and track goal attainment in CRM system.
- Research and understand Dean Honda's target market by staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and Dean Honda's overall market opportunity.
- Represent the Dean Honda brand. As a Dean Honda employee, you are an extension of the brand at work, outside of work when in uniform, and on social media if you list your Dean Honda's name as your employer and/or post about your employment at Dean Honda. - 1-2 years of experience in selling a product or service (preferred, but not required),
- Excellent ability to manage and build relationships,
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed acquisition goals,
- Advanced skills in communicating, selling, and negotiating,
- Unrelenting drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs,
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Availability to work Saturdays. (You will have off all Sundays and one additional day during the work week).

Full-time position
Dean Honda is looking for a sales consultant to join our team. This person will actively seek out and engage prospective customers to sell new and pre-owned vehicles and products.

Upon hire, you will receive on-the-job training by working one-on-one with a Sales Manager, shadowing seasoned Sales Consultants, and obtaining product knowledge through online training through Honda's Interactive Network.
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
Pay: There is a three-month training period pay of $3,000 (gross) per month + commission. After the training period, you move to a Sales Consultant pay plan, which has the potential of reaching an average of $60,000 to $120,000 (gross) per year.
