    Summary

    Securing Travel, Protecting People - At the Transportation Security Administration, you will serve in a high-stakes environment to safeguard the American way of life. In cities across the country, you would secure airports, seaports, railroads, highways, and/or public transit systems, thus protecting America's transportation infrastructure and ensuring freedom of movement for people and commerce.

    Duties

    This Program Assistant position is located Denver International Airport (DEN), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Applying experience and knowledge of analytical techniques to perform basic and routine tasks in support of the day-to-day operations for assigned program.
  • Providing assistance and support to program office staff on the analysis of productivity, effectiveness of strategies, and specific approaches used in implementing the airport security program.
  • Assisting in the development of reports and formulating recommendations based on findings in effort to deter security risks, improve administrative or security processes, procedures, and compliance with current regulations.
  • Monitoring various metrics ensuring plans are tracked and necessary actions are being taken to complete established goals and objectives.
  • Researching files, records, and electronic retrieval systems to collect and assemble specific information for program interests.
