    The Senior Director of Product Marketing for Adobe Commerce is a leadership position responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy.

    As an expert in the industry, you will use deep customer understanding to lead global product launches field and ecosystem enablement.

    You will work with the broader product, marketing and field teams to drive focused strategies to execution and winning outcomes.

    Partner with product management to help define product strategy, establish a winning position that differentiates Adobe in the market.

    As an established commerce leader with vision, act as the face of the brand regularly presenting to customers, supporting industry events, and engaging analysts comfortably supporting both business and technical topics.

    What you'll do

    Be responsible for the segment and marketing plan for Magento Enterprise Commerce.

    Market intelligence—be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria.

    Deeply understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.


    Understand and document our buyer's process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make.

    Then lead changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.


    Partner with product management and marketing campaign teams to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.

    Collaborate with global marketing and campaign teams to translate strategy into execution tactics.

    Be an inspiring leader for Adobe Commerce including speaking engagements and written works.


    Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop sales plays and external collateral and guide them how and when to use it.

    What you need to succeed

    A minimum of fifteen years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the enterprise software or SaaS industry.


    Strong understanding of the commerce market landscape, including e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer experience at a technology and business level.

    Proven track record of successfully launching and market complex software products.


    Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies focused on outcomes.


    Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals that go beyond expected.

    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several

    U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $161,500 $352,900 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.


    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.


    Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
