Job Description:

As a Cloud Network Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing the security of our cloud-based networks and systems. You will work closely with our security and operations teams to implement and maintain effective security controls, policies, and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring network traffic and security alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents, intrusions, and vulnerabilities.
Conducting regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure, identifying gaps and recommending remediation measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Configuring and managing security tools and technologies in the cloud environment, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), web application firewalls (WAF), and SIEM solutions.
Collaborating with cloud architects and engineers to design and implement secure network architectures and configurations, considering factors such as data protection, access control, and resilience.
Developing and maintaining security documentation, including network diagrams, security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Participating in incident response activities, including investigation, analysis, and documentation of security breaches, and assisting in remediation efforts.
Keeping abreast of emerging threats and security trends in cloud computing, and proactively recommending enhancements to our security posture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, with hands-on experience in cloud networking technologies such as VPC, VPN, ACLs, and security groups.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with cloud security services and controls.
Knowledge of common security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Benchmarks.
Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, and vulnerability scanning tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and recommend effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP) are a plus.
