- Assist in the creation of marketing campaigns to promote the benefits of our client partners
- Help with the development and implementation of marketing strategies
- Conduct market research
- Collaborate with Executive Directors to support their initiatives and projects
- Support marketing efforts through work in administrative tasks
- Collaborate across the organization with other marketing professionals to best understand the organizational needs and how to effectively market for a client association
- Assist in organizing promotional events and/or digital campaigns
- Attend meetings as requested by leadership
- Performing research on behalf of client associations
- Update social media accounts
- Create images using marketing software such as Canva or Photoshop
- Shadow roles across the team to learn about the organization
- Other duties as assigned
- Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of Canva and/or Photoshop preferred
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot, etc. preferred
- Hands-on experience working in a professional environment supporting initiatives which directly impact our client partners

ABOUT THIS ROLE
Associations International (AI) is an association management company based in Lexington, KY, who partners with non-profit trade and career associations. Our job is to help those non-profits meet their mission and grow their membership through the work of our talented, dedicated team.
We are seeking an Marketing Intern to join our team here at AI As the Marketing Intern, you'll have the exciting opportunity to support marketing-related functions across the Associations International team. Marketing functions could include conducting research, capturing data, attending meetings, utilizing social media, and reviewing trends. You'll work closely with experienced team members, gaining hands-on experience in tasks such as conference shipments and data management. If you're passionate about marketing, eager to learn, and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you
