Engagement Promoter (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Catholic Engagement Promoter (m/f/d) for the Archdiocese of Cologne, located in
Erzbischöfliches Generalvikariat Köln | 50668 Köln, starting as soon as possible.

The position is part-time (50%, approximately 19.5 hours per week) and based in Cologne-Dünnwald and Höhenhaus.

Your responsibilities:

Point of contact for interested individuals and volunteers
Recruitment of volunteers and placement in suitable tasks
Development and maintenance of good framework conditions
Further development and promotion of a culture of appreciation for engagement and strengthening of charitable engagement
Support in the development and implementation of actions and projects with an activating and/or spiritual focus
Development of engagement descriptions and new areas of deployment
Establishment of an engagement service center
Collaboration in a multiprofessional pastoral team
Networking in the pastoral area and in the social environment of Cologne-Dünnwald/Höhenhaus

Your profile:

- (Academic) degree (Bachelor) in the field of pedagogy, social work or comparable qualification

Independent and conscientious way of working, as well as the ability to work conceptually and visionarily
Enthusiasm, persuasiveness and great joy in change and innovation
Strong communication and social skills for collaboration with various stakeholders in the church and society
