- Oversee team audit and accounting portfolio for 70+ vendors which includes Procurement approval, Engagement letter review, fee approval and adherence to budget.
- Oversee dividend approval process to ensure dividends paid from FIS entities are within legal limits.
- Review and analyze annual audited and non-audited financial statements for multiple international subsidiary companies.
- Participation in annual audits and at times overseeing and coordinating audit requests.
- Research accounting and financial reporting rules and regulations in assigned countries and apply them to assigned companies.
- Manage various ad hoc queries.
- Manage the team's performance by implementing goals and documenting progress.
- Develop, motivate, and empower staff which includes planning, coaching, recruiting, performance development and mentoring.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 2-3 years of experience managing projects.
- 5+ years of accounting and/or audit experience. Big 4 experience is desirable.
- Proficient ability to create spreadsheets and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of external auditing processes and procedures as well as accounting principles and financial statements.
- Experience in analytical and statistical examination for complex problem solving and ability to communicate to leadership.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in an organized manner and consistently follow-up on tasks.
- CPA license

About the team
The Global Statutory Reporting team handles the mandatory submission of financial information to government agencies in more than 50 countries worldwide.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation of being in the Jacksonville office 3 days a week.
