- Verify merchandise invoices against received items for accuracy
- Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx
- Ensure accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips
- Double-check all transfers processed through the register
- Properly package items for shipment to customers and other stores
- Remove pins and plastic from shipped merchandise
- Attach Sensormatic tags to garments as needed
- Prepare merchandise for the sales floor, steam if necessary
- Assist with floor projects as required
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
- Proficient in Point of Sale software
- Receive and process freight and store transfers
- Handle security risks and prevent theft
- Create shipping labels and organize packages
- Manage supplies inventory and store organization
- Uphold store policies and ethics
- Report policy violations and provide feedback to management
- Adhere to Buckle's Code of Ethics and policies
- Contribute to a positive team dynamic
- Participate in special projects and assigned duties

In addition, the Freight Coordinator is responsible for various operational tasks as assigned by store management, including receiving shipments, shipping merchandise, maintaining the backroom, and ensuring cleanliness of the facilities.
