    Description

    THE ROLE:

    We are seeking a talented and creative graphic designer to join our team The ideal candidate will have an eye for compelling design and a strong understanding of The Absorption Company brand. As a graphic designer, you will be responsible for creating visual content for various mediums and will work closely with the marketing team to translate concepts into compelling designs that effectively communicate our brand and engage our target audience.

    This is a contract to hire position and is based in Los Angeles, CA.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Working closely with the marketing team to develop concepts that elevate the brand's visual identity. This includes collaboration on social posts, digital ads, emails, web design, merch and more.
    • Staying up-to-date on design trends, innovations, and competitor branding. The candidate should be able to synthesize these findings and appropriately identify opportunities for growth and differentiation with The Absorption Company's brand strategy in order to maintain a competitive advantage.
    • Ensuring all designs meet The Absorption Company standard. This role will be responsible for both evolving and maintaining the brand's visual identity to ensure consistency across all design assets with the goal of creating a cohesive brand experience for consumers.
    • Occasionally designing print materials such as packaging, retail displays, inserts and signage.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2-4 years of design experience.
    • A standout portfolio highlighting expertise in branding, social, and packaging design within the consumer goods industry.
    • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant design software.
    • Experience with Adobe Stager, Adobe Dimension or similar 3D visualization software.
    • Skilled in email marketing platforms including Figma and Klaviyo.

    WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

    • Illustration and proficiency in Procreate or similar sketching technology preferred.
    • Experience with motion graphics is a strong plus.
