SUMMARY


The Graphic Designer is responsible for preflight through final production of art; ensures all elements and deliverables meet printing specifications with precision.

Utilizing assets, brand/style guidelines and key art to create final production art.

You have a passion for design layout, and formatting compelling B2B (Business to Business) creative projects, aiming to achieve sales and product adoption objectives through strong design skills in a timely matter.

Responsible for evaluating, researching, collaborate, and advising creatives into print.


The role operates in a Mac-based environment, full Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.


JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE

  • Developing and producing artwork for multiple customers across a diverse range of brand offerings utilizing brand guidelines and/or key art.
  • Translating concepts into final art for various elements and media, maintaining the integrity of design.
  • Setting up final artwork for print production (resolution, size, colors, appropriate file type, fonts, packaging, bleed, crop marks, etc.). Reviewing digital and hard proofs for aesthetic design, color, manufacturing accuracy, and image quality.
  • Working from concept sketches, drafting products in 3D using Esko, Strata, or equivalent software to render drawings realistically.
  • Managing deliverables accurately and efficiently to build client/vendor confidence and trust.
  • Managing color profiles to ensure accurate color reproduction.
  • Assisting in maintaining largeformat printers by calibrating and linearizing printing devices and supplies, as required.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a similar discipline.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Ability to think threedimensionally and conceptualize effectively.
  • Knowledge of special display layout, graphics, design, and costing.
  • Experience with each print method: digital, lithography and flexography.
  • Coursework or training in product design, printing processes, industrial design, cost estimation, and production control.
  • Understanding of printing plates, dies, machinery, and corrugated conversion process.
  • Experienced in corrugated industry carton, displays, and POP.
  • Highlevel skills within branding, marketing, and strategy.
  • Strong awareness of popculture styles and trends.
  • A willingness to work unusual or extended hours as required.
  • Knowledge in Web Center and Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Openness to change and revisions as part of the work.
  • Detailoriented, ability to maintain confidentiality, and the capacity to work with mínimal supervision or in a team environment.
  • Superb communication abilities, attitude, problemsolving capabilities, assertive nature, and team commitment.
  • A funny bone.
  • Valid Driver's License with DMV evidence of a good driving record.
  • Submission of a PDF attachment or a link to a portfolio is required.
