    Junior IT Systems Specialist

    Summary: The Junior IT Systems Specialist provides support and assistance in managing IT systems within Miami-Dade County. This role is an entry-level position, ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in system administration and support.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of servers and IT systems.
    • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues.
    • Monitor system performance and assist in system upgrades and migrations.
    • Collaborate with senior IT systems specialists to learn and develop technical skills.
    • Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and inventory.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
    • Basic understanding of IT systems and network infrastructure.
    • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
    • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Certifications or coursework in IT-related areas are a plus.
