    Description
    Job Title: I&E Designer IV
    Work Location: Tulsa, OK
    Duration: 1 year contract
    Education/Experience Required: A minimum of eight years of progressive work experience in electrical, instrumentation & controls is required with emphasis on controls engineering and power distribution.

    Job Description & Responsibilities:
    • Conducts complex design assignments for the Engineering Department serving as a technical specialist.
    • Develops Engineering Standards for EI&C equipment purchases and installations.
    • Defines Projects by determining objectives and providing technical assistance to the business unit(s).
    • Plans Projects by writing specifications, developing schedules, and identifying process design improvements.
    • Oversees construction of EI&C Capital Projects.
    • Develops project scopes, budgets and AFE's for approval, ensuring compliance with standards.
    • Implements Projects by monitoring performance, providing feedback, and negotiating for required resources.
    • Solves technical problems, troubleshoots, and updates data for business unit(s).
    • Upgrades, designs, configures, maintains, and monitors equipment and performance.
    • Analyzes components, systems, and processes to maintain data integrity.
    • Designs chemical plant EI&C equipment and develops new process control processes.
    • Conducts research for process improvement and scale-up.
    • Plans layout for EI&C on a commercial scale efficiently.
    • Determines effective arrangements for Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls.
    • Investigates and resolves work-in-process issues.
    • Handles special assignments as per supervisor's discretion.
    Skills & Qualifications:
    • A minimum of eight years of experience in electrical, instrumentation & controls, with expertise in controls engineering and power distribution.
    • Prefer prior experience in the refinery or petrochemical industry.
    • A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
    • Project management skills are crucial with the ability to apply engineering concepts analytically.
    • Proficient in communication, advanced mathematical calculations, and technology awareness.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft products and engineering software is beneficial.
    • Potential supervision of personnel and contractors.
