    Description

    ENG's expertise reaches four main market verticals: Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals; Energy & Renewables; Automation, Integration and Government Services, and Technologies.

    Services are largely self-performed.


    The best candidate for this position will possess formal electronics training from: Technical school, or a Class A or B military school in electronics or communications and strong computers skills.

    (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Customer service experience a plus.

    Typical task assignments include assisting in running industrial conduit, assisting with pulling and terminating wiring, assisting with calibrating electronic devices, assisting with installing industrial equipment, assisting with installing enclosures, assisting with pouring small concrete pads, and assisting with building equipment racks.


    Additional requirements:

    • Active or previous security clearance preferred.
    • Must be able to pass a NACLC security background check.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
    • Significant travel will be required. Preference for current possession of a government CAC.
    Qualifications


    Experience required:

    • Entry level position looking for a basic understanding and practical experience with electronics repair, equipment maintenance, equipment installation, systems integration, equipment testing, and equipment inspection.
    • Capable of safely handling hand tools and following directions from peers, colleagues, and superiors.
    • Experience with industrial devices used for level, flow, pressure, and temperature measurement is a plus.
    • Experience with industrial PLCs, controllers, and system network architecture is a plus.
    • Compensation level is based on experience.


    Previous work with Navel Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Army Corp of Engineers (ACoE), or other government agencies in these areas is a plus.


    Candidate will be responsible for participating in the equipment and automation system installations on government programs focused on real-time monitoring and data recording for product inventory control systems and process control systems on a world-wide basis.

    Significant (up to 100%) travel is required.


    Should be able to demonstrate basic understanding of the following: equipment drawings, electrical/electronic schematics, plan drawings, elevation drawings, and connection drawings.
