    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Licensing Coordinator to join our legal department. The Licensing Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting our licensing operations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and facilitating efficient processes related to licensing agreements.

    This is a contract role looking to start immediately. Please only apply if you're available to start within a week.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the preparation, review, and execution of licensing agreements under the guidance of legal counsel.
    • Maintain accurate records of all licensing agreements and related documentation.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather necessary information for licensing processes.
    • Monitor licensing deadlines and ensure timely renewals and compliance.
    • Conduct research on licensing regulations and industry best practices to support legal team initiatives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to streamline licensing processes and enhance efficiency.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of licensing policies and procedures.
    • Respond to inquiries and provide information related to licensing matters.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field.
    • Prior experience in a similar role or within a legal environment preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
    • Familiarity with legal terminology and contract management processes.
    • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of intellectual property laws and licensing regulations.
    • Experience using contract management software or related tools.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
    • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
