    **Assistant Service Manager - Food & Beverage - Full-time**

    Ginger Cove is currently seeking a Full-time, Assistant Service Manager to support our Food & Beverage department.

    The Food & Beverage Assistant Service Manager is responsible for working in accordance with established policies and procedures, and/or specific instruction from the F&B Director, and the F&B Service Manager. F&B Assistant Service Manager supports the overall supervision of all aspects of meal time service and the overall efficiency of the dining room, bar, sanitation and safety operations.

    Essential Functions:

    Meets or exceeds residents, guests, and staffs expectations with available services.

    Supervision of the overall efficiency of dining room, bar and take out operations.

    Supervise schedules, evaluate, train, coach and develop all restaurant staff and supervisors.

    Supervise the organization and sanitation of restaurant, kitchen, storage and loading dock.

    Ensure the dining staff works safely and adheres to the policies and procedures.

    Maintains effective communication with managers, subordinates and all other coworkers.

    Participate in resident and employee satisfaction program and activities.

    Attend all in-services and staff meetings as required.

    Must be familiar with and complete training relating to Risk Management.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications:

    Associates or Bachelors degree in Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.

    ServSafe certification preferred or training must be completed within first 90-days of employment.

    Managerial experience in Hospitality industry preferred.

    Ability to supervise multiple dining rooms and large number of employees.

    Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.

    Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

    Current applicable food service license or certificate as required by state, local or federal regulations.

    Full Covid-19 vaccination required.
