What You'll Do:

As a Loading Associate/ Manager, you will Prepare, Load and Unload water and mixed chemicals into ag planes and trucks in a safe, accurate and on time way to meet the Company and customer expectations.

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

Unloads, mixes, loads and transfers products in a safe and efficient manner to ensure complete, on-time, and accurate materials are ready for projects.
Prepares and mixes chemicals accurately following instructions and doing basic math calculations to ensure accurate mixtures and safety of crops.
Manages ground crew and loading operations to ensure integrity, safety and overall customer satisfaction.
Performs weekly tank gauging and general housekeeping, groundskeeping and facility maintenance to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Interacts with customers and suppliers in a professional and polite manner to ensure Company and customer goals are met.
Monitors Inventory and purchase of shop supplies, chemicals, etc. to ensure proper documentation.
Maintains DOT records for company fleet & drivers and maintains a valid pesticide license to ensure Company is in compliance.
Operates and performs light maintenance on the trucks as needed to ensure customer deliveries are on time to meet customer goals.
Performs other duties and assists employees in other classification/departments as required to meet Company goals.

Position Requirements:

Education: A high school diploma, or the equivalent.
Experience: 1+ years of loading experience; Farmer and/or agricultural backgrounds with truck-driving experience would be a plus. Must develop a knowledge of the product and its properties, as well as safe and proper operation of all pesticide equipment. Must be aware of and follow all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
Certifications: Valid Driver's License and CDL Class A preferred (or be willing to obtain).
Functional Skills: Strong attention to detail with an ability to read and understand documents, procedures and specifications. Strong ability to follow work orders and names of chemicals. Solid math and counting skills are required. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools for light truck maintenance and general warehouse equipment as needed. Good prioritization skills and an ability to multitask and problem-solve issues to meet company goals is required. This role requires excellent planning and time management skills as well. Must be able to comply with work instructions and safety rules.
Technology Aptitude/Skills: Strong computer skills needed, experience with warehouse management systems and automated equipment would be a plus.
Language Skills: Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Leadership/Behaviors: Reliable, self-motivated and can take initiative; puts the time in to get the job done in an accurate, safe, and high-quality way; can work independently and be accountable for their work and projects.

Other Important Information:

Position Pay: $25 - $35.00 per hour. Willing to negotiate for the right person as well. Willing to pay to get CDL.

Reports To: Operations Manager

Core Hours: Daylight to Dark during busy season (April to October); shorter hours during off season (can move from full-time to part-time hours during slower season if chosen, or work assembly in a sister company).

Typical Work Week: Monday to Friday, with some weekends as required.

Direct Reports: None

Work Conditions: Working outdoors, sunrise to sunset. Driving semi-tractor trailers as needed to move them; agricultural environment; ability to lift up to lbs. (with assistance as needed) and able to work around chemicals and moving equipment.

Travel: Some travel required
