    We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead our information security Compliance Branch to support a homeland security customer in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in managing complex systems within our Agency, demonstrating a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and the ability to lead and innovate in a fast-paced environment.

    • Act as the single point of contact for the Cybersecurity Division, supporting all systems and leading the information security Compliance Branch.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity policies and regulations, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing security measures.
    • Coordinate and lead cybersecurity initiatives, projects, and programs within the organization.
    • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the information security posture of the organization.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and plans.
    • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between the Contractor and the Government for all cybersecurity-related matters.
    • Provide guidance and leadership to junior security staff and stakeholders within the organization.
    Requirements:
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, specifically in roles managing complex systems in a similar Agency or organization.
    • Proven experience as an ISSO or in a similar senior role in information security management.
    • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and standards.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
    • Ability to act as a single point of contact for all cybersecurity matters, demonstrating strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Must be able to provide the names of the Senior ISSO(s) and any alternates as part of the Contractor's proposal to the Government.
