    Job Description:

    SWCORP is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in financial management, ERPs, AR & AP reconciliation, account reconciliation, and other accounting functions. Freight forwarding experience would be considered a plus. This individual will play a critical role in supporting financial operations and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
    • Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.
    • Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements.
    • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.
    • Report analysis and findings to management team.
    • Assist in various financial processes, including AR & AP reconciliation, account reconciliation, month-end close, and financial reporting.
    • Support the financial operations of the company, including cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize e-commerce operations, inventory management, cost control initiatives, and freight forwarding processes.
    • Utilize ERP systems (NetSuite, Acumatica) to streamline processes and improve efficiency, while also identifying opportunities for system enhancements.
    • Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
    • Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Participate in cost analysis initiatives to contribute to the growth and success of SWCORP.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on AR & AP reconciliation, account reconciliation, and financial management.
    • Previous experience in accounting or other related fields.
    • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP.
    • Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools.
    • Detail and deadline-oriented.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, Acumatica), as well as advanced Excel skills.
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Freight forwarding experience considered a plus.
