- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time using our payroll software/system.
- Verify and reconcile timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Calculate and process payroll deductions, such as taxes, insurance, and retirement contributions.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and ensure compliance.
- Assist with payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to government agencies as required.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll records.
- Participate in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and adhere to data protection regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or related field.
- Proficiency in payroll software/systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, etc.).
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
