- Prepare and process multi-state payroll tax filings, including federal, state, and local taxes.
- Reconcile payroll tax liabilities and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes to payroll tax regulations and incorporate updates into payroll processing.
- Respond to inquiries from employees and government agencies regarding payroll taxes.
- Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as HR and Accounting, to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll tax administration.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws.
- Experience with multi-state payroll tax processing.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Position Summary:
As a Payroll Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll tax processing and compliance. You will ensure accurate and timely filing of payroll tax returns, reconciliation of tax liabilities, and resolution of any payroll tax issues.
