    The College of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology is looking for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA).

    This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

    Prepare appropriate equipment for administration of anesthesia.

    This involves, but is not limited to, checking machines, appropriate small equipment, blood pressure cuffs, endotracheal tubes, and drugs for the conduit of anesthesia.

    ~ Administer anesthesia, giving drugs and monitoring vital signs and other indicators of anesthesia's effects on patients. The regular, frequent, and accurate recording of patient's condition during and immediately following the administration of anesthetic drugs is required.

    ~ CRNA shall administer anesthesia only under the direct supervision of a faculty physician anesthesiologist.

    ~ Report any malfunctioning equipment.

    ~ Current Nursing license in the state of Ohio.
    Certificate of Authority to practice in Ohio as a CRNA by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
