    Family Legacy Missions International is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented

    Social Media Manager

    to lead our social media efforts in Dallas and execute on the ministry's goals and strategic plan. We are looking for a creative, self-motivated, confident servant leader who is business-savvy and ministry-focused.     What You'll Be Doing:


    Under the leadership of the Art Director, the Social Media Manager will execute the brand strategy by delivering compelling messages across social media channels.

    There will be significant collaboration with our marketing team in Zambia, as well as our Sponsorship, Development, and Community Engagement teams.

    Content Strategy :

    Assist in the strategic planning of content calendars for social media platforms, including creative concepting and coordination of creative assets.


    Content Management :
    Schedule and post content across various social media channels.

    Community Engagement:
    Monitor and respond to online engagement from followers and interact with potential followers.

    Digital Content Creation:


    Assist with the creation of digital content and copywriting; proficiency in photography, videography, photo and video editing, and graphic design a plus.


    Think Tanks:
    Lead, plan and coordinate monthly social media think-tanks with US based and Zambian led teams.

    Analytics and Reporting:
    Monitor social media analytics, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations based on data insights.

    Trend Identification:
    Identify relevant online trends and make suggestions for incorporating them into brand content.

    Ad Spend :
    Ability to run paid ads and assess results for better conversion

    Innovation :
    Ability to seek out new opportunities to engage with new (or new to us) platforms and launch maintain a presence on those platforms

    Additional Projects :
    Support other projects within the scope of social media and storytelling as needed.

    What You Bring:
    Bachelor's Degree in related field (marketing or advertising)
    Two (2) years of professional experience in graphic design, art director, or creative director
    Manage relationships with internal, international, and third-party vendors and resources
    Experience with social media branding (content development and creative review)
    Exceptional servant leader with expert time management, project management, and organizational skills
    Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple and changing priorities
    Demonstrated ability to focus on big picture, execution of projects, and manage multiple deadlines
    Ministry experience in a developing country or prior mission trip experience is a plus
    Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
    Always operates with a high level of confidentiality, trust, and candor
    Strong interpersonal and human relation skills, incorporates feedback, gives and takes direction well
    Team player who interacts with diplomacy and tact amid influential constituents and diverse groups
    Passion for and cultural sensitivity to working with students and caregivers in developing nation
    An abiding relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with our Statement of Faith
    Proficient in Microsoft Office
    Pro-active and solutions-oriented with high energy and enthusiasm
    Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
