    The role involves undertaking the end-to-end testing of the Infotainment/Audio system and validating the functions & sub-functions against the system specification requirements, as well as generating fault reports & documentation, detailing any shortfalls, so that a corrective resolution path can be agreed with the supplier, delivered, implemented and re-tested.


    We are looking for many prospected new Talent for this opportunity to join a new project focusing on Infotainment/Audio system development being hands-on with the vehicle.


    These challenges await you:

    Key Responsibilities Include:
    Working closely and reporting to the companies Leaders for Infotainment.
    Working with many of the Infotainment functions interact with other control vehicle systems.

    Managing the final system and vehicle validation testing for the Driver Information Module (DIM) and Infotainment Head Unit (IHU) including the associated interfaces & controls of Audio, switch pack and sub functions.

    Managing the IHU Software directly with the Tier 1 supplier for Engineering and Official Software releases.
    Leading the weekly Infotainment development meetings with Supplier(s) and associated engineers.
    System testing will be reported into the program level on a daily/weekly basis for timing and function delivery status.
    Final function & HMO tuning to respective components for Attribute sign-off.

    Working with respective departments, engineers and suppliers to problem solve and achieve solutions to encountered problems, taking accountability for the resolution.

    Joining the daily/weekly meetings to define & confirm the test plans disseminated to PMO.
    Writing clear and defined test reports.
    Supporting the purchasing, budget and financial responsible to make clear decisions.
    Travelling to the development facilities in Europe for Training
    Managing the day-to-day infotainment system validation testing and reporting of issues.
    Managing recoveries to meet program timings.
    Function testing to an Engineering Sign-Off standard.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

    Essential:
    Experience in Infotainment & Connected Automotive Systems and their associated sub-systems design and validation.
    Extensive knowledge in infotainment and audio system development and delivery.

    Knowledge of network communications and use associated software tools for CAN, A2B, LIN, LVDS, Signal Database Implementation & Diagnostic Specification.

    Experience with Third-party interfaces
    Knowledge of associated regulatory ECE requirements relating to Infotainment systems and Driver displays.
    Must be a good team player and can encourage others.
    US Driving License.
    Management of the Infotainment system design development teams.
    Technical understanding of the components within the infotainment system and their interactions.
    Use PC based applications, Windows, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel & Teams.
    Automotive OEM/supplier infotainment engineer, team leader or expert.
    Must be highly organized and structured.
    Must excel in a collaborative team environment.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Must be focused and self- managed.


    Desirable:
    Manged different Infotainment component development teams through the development lifecycle.
    Managed the development & validation testing, following the 'V' development cycle.
    Have experience of connected car communications and networks.

    Knowledge of the following tools:
    mObridge DSP, JIRA & DevOPs.
