    Senior Accountant

    Tampa, Florida 33612

    Hybrid Schedule

    Our client is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant with expertise in accounting, variance analysis, and inventory management to join our finance team.

    Senior Accountants Responsibilities:

    • This role entails the daily reporting of accounting and inventory-related tasks.
    • Evaluate and confirm the accuracy of calculations within the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) system.
    • Provide insights into and assess discrepancies in inventory, understanding their implications for accounting.
    • Execute month-end activities for inventory and additional tasks as deemed necessary.
    • Generate and manage journal entries as the situation demands.
    • Take charge of overseeing quarterly and annual inventory-related functions.
    • Ensure the proper maintenance and monitoring of fixed assets.
    • Offer assistance to other accounting functions as a backup resource, as required.
    • Collaborate in supporting internal and external audit processes.

    Senior Accountants Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Inventory Experience is a HUGE plus
    • Excellent knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
    • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
