    In this role you will have opportunity to participate in the development and execution of a Strategic Communications Campaign involving an audience that spans Congress, Innovative Start Ups, Corporations, Media, Universities, and the Department of Defense. Our marketing and communications team is looking for an Undergraduate or Graduate student interested in gaining a tremendous amount of industry experience in a short period of time. This position has potential for full-time employment in the future.

    Required Skills

    • Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate or graduate student studying marketing, communications, or a related field
    • 3.2 Minimum GPA
    • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
    Required Experience
    • Demonstrated ability to develop blog posts, communication materials, briefs, or other non-academic content (written and/or audiovisual)
    • Demonstrates the ability to write post for social media, newsletters and articles
    • Ability to work effectively with involved stakeholders and subject matter experts
    • Excellent research, writing, editing, and communication skills
    • Be able to build short and long-form content into our web platform utilizing an internal development tool
    • Wrap, edit, and publish content files.
    Desired Qualifications
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
    • Excellent research, analytical and storytelling skills.
    • Knowledge of grammar usage and editorial style guidelines.
    • Ability to analyze and synthesize information quickly and accurately.
    • Ability to work quickly on deadline, while balancing competing priorities and tackling multiple assignments.
    • Ability to be flexible, self-motivated and collaborative in order to deliver high quality work product in multiple communications mediums.
    • Active security clearance
