Solutions Engineer

Joining UnitX as a Solutions Engineer means being a vital part of designing, developing, and implementing defect inspection automation solutions tailored to suit our clients' unique requirements. You will work closely with various teams such as sales, project management, and technical experts to analyze needs, devise solutions, and supervise defect inspection projects' execution.

What You'll Do:

Solution Design: Collaborate with internal teams to grasp customers' defect inspection challenges and develop comprehensive automation solutions covering imaging and motion hardware, software, control systems, and integration components.
POC: Utilize inhouse and external imaging systems to tackle intricate visual inspection challenges.
Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes, run thorough tests to validate solution proposals' functionality and performance, and tackle any technical issues or inefficiencies.
Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, wiring schematics, user manuals, and operating procedures.

Who You Are:

Engineering Background: Well-versed in factory automation, system integrators, production line design, and assembly.
Basic Knowledge: Familiarity with programming languages, particularly Python or C
Industry Experience: Hands-on experience of 2+ years in working on automation projects within the manufacturing sector.
Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD, Optics, Electrical Systems, Control Systems
Problem-Solving: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design efficient solutions for intricate manufacturing processes.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and effectively convey technical information to various stakeholders.
Hands-On Experience: Practical experience in deploying and resolving issues in manufacturing automation systems is highly valuable.

$70,000 - $90,000 salary range + equity
