    Safety Manager (EH&S) to join us in our
    Mt.

    Prospect, Illinois location.


    About the role:


    Develops strategies aligned to Field Service Organization objectives that ensure safety policies are up-to-date, documented and adhered to in a cost-effective manner while ensuring security, quality and delivery of service to our customer base.

    Coordinates the efforts of the Field Service Management team and Field Technicians to introduce new safety measures and policies, is actively involved in training safety policies and procedures, and is responsible for Leading Accident investigations and teaching incident report procedures.

    This position is responsible for maintaining consistency in the process of incident reporting, safety training and accident reporting.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Responsible for supporting business and Service strategies in terms of safety for the Field Service and Sales Personnel, ergonomics, lifting, safety, tools and PPE.
    • Responsible for accident investigations
    • Responsible for developing and implementing methodology for tracking, monitoring, reporting and improving driving habits of the Field Organization,
    • Responsible for working with Technicians and Managers on all incident reports.
    • Actively participates in Field level technician meetings on Safety related training and exposure to accidents and preventative measures.
    • Regular travel in the field to do tech ride allows and review safety procedures and environment reviews.

    Qualifications and Required Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in EHS or Safety or equivalent Military Safety work experience.
    • English Level: Advanced
    • Desirable 5 years in position as Safety Manager or Transportation Manager
    • Desirable 5 years in problem solving
    • Desirable 3 years as internal auditor of ISO 9001 or VDA or IATF 16949
    • Desirable 5 years in interpretation of geometric tolerances and interpretation of planes
    • Desirable knowledge: ISO 9001, Engineering Changes, Geometric Tolerances (GD&T), Problem Resolution Techniques (8D's, 5Why, Ishikawa etc.), Differential and Inferential Statistics, Core Tools (AMEF, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, Production Part Approval Process), Continuous Improvement Tools.
